Avon Valley Arts Society presents the Wheatbelt Cultural Festival 2008.
Guest speakers include Dr Carmen Lawrence, historian Dr Tony Hughes-d'Aeth and artist Brian McKay.
The Festival Concert will feature the WA Youth Chorale singing "Wheatbelt" and "Three Australian Bushsongs" followed by contemporary dance "The Drover's Wives" by Steamworks Art Productions.
Experience environmental art with site specific artworks along the Avon River. Other highlights include the Cosmic Video Dome and the Gathering of Bags (what can you do with a flour bag?).
