RDA Wheatbelt's Youth Connections program is working collaboratively with Youth stakeholders from Northam, York, Toodyay and Bindoon communities to deliver a Wheatbelt Youth Forum in response to recent Youth suicide and accidental death incidents that have been experiencing by the young people in the participating communities. RDAW has offered support for this event as an outreach activity in what looks to be a fantastic event. We are assisting by participating in planning meetings, mentoring young people and designing their marketing materials. 2012 is Australian Year of the Farmer and Farm Day offers an opportunity to share in the spirit of the year. If you are a farming family, Farm Day is a wonderful chance to share your lifestyle and business with a city family who are keen to understand how you go about producing the food and fibre for which Australian farmers are renowned.
