Cycling & Kep Track
If you're looking for walking trails and cycling paths to explore the Western Australian countryside come and experience the beautiful Avon Valley using the Kep Track, which runs from Mundaring Weir to Northam. The Kep Track is a walking and cycling path which follows the Railway Reserve Heritage Trail, the Golden Pipeline and minor roads.
The word Kep is from a Noongar word, ‘Gep’, meaning Water. The Kep track is used by walkers, horse riders and cyclists and is 75 km in length. It is one of WA's Top walking and cycling trails. Local trails for cyclists include Clackline to Northam via Spencers Brook Rd and Muresk, Northam to Toodyay via Katrine Rd Heritage Trail and Toodyay to Northam via Irishtown.
