Visitor CentreThe Shire of Northam Visitor Centre is at your service for accommodation bookings, information, maps, souvenirs and local produce. Gain insight into our multicultural heritage with a visit to the Migrant Exhibition " A Sense of Place" located at the Visitor Centre. Dr Nonja Peters, curator of the exhibition, has gathered the stories of migrants from Eastern Europe who came to Northam after World War II. It is open to the public from 9am to 4.30pm weekdays and 9am to 3.30 pm on weekends.
The Visitor Centre has rest rooms with disabled access, a parents room as well as shower facilities. Travellers with caravans and motorhomes are welcome to use the free power and water available in our car park during the day.
Enjoy a meal overlooking the Avon River at the Riversedge Cafe, or picnic in the park with playground and barbecues available.
The Conference Room, situated in the Visitor Centre has seating for up to 30 people, a projection screen and whiteboards, with morning and afternoon tea available and a cafe next door. We look forward to welcoming you to Northam and the Avon Valley !
