Visitor Centre
The Northam Visitor Centre provides a complete service to enhance your experience of the Avon Valley.
We offer a full range of facilities and services including general information about Northam and the Avon Valley area, accommodation and tour booking services, local arts and crafts, souvenirs, hot showers and a comprehensive list of local tourist facilities.
The Exhibition Room which houses " A Sense of Place" Migrant Exhibition is open to the public from 9am to 4.45pm weekdays and 9am to 3.45 pm on weekends. It is the perfect way to gain an insight into how our state's multicultural society developed. Once you've finished having a look at the display you might like to grab a brochure, take a walk around town and view some of the historical town sculptures in Fitzgerald St.
The Northam Visitor Centre has rest rooms with full disabled access, a parents room as well as shower facilities, so you can freshen up before the next stage of your journey. Travellers with caravans and motorhomes are welcome to use the free power and water available in our car park during the day.
The Conference Room, situated in the Visitor Centre has seating for up to 30 people, a projection screen and whiteboards, with morning and afternoon tea available.
The Northam Visitor Centre is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm on weekends.
